The Friends of Swiss Historic Hotels association is the patrons' association of the Swiss Hotel Heritage Foundation .
It brings together people who are passionate about historic hotels and wish to share this passion with each other.
Historic hotels serve as unique witnesses to the history of tourism. They combine architecture, hospitality and cultural identity in one – and are at the same time part of our architectural heritage.
The association creates a framework in which this enthusiasm can be lived out: through group trips, events and encounters in selected locations.
This creates a vibrant community of like-minded people – driven by interest, exchange and personal experiences surrounding Switzerland's historic hotel heritage.
The association provides both moral and financial support to the work of the Swiss Hotel Heritage Foundation and contributes to:
